The future of marketing: Revisit professor philip kotlers insight on his 92nd birthday in Dhaka with Asia Marketing Federation

On May 27th, 2023, the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) and its member organizations from 17 countries gathered in Dhaka to commemorate the 92nd birthday of the Father of Modern Marketing, Professor Philip Kotler.

On this momentous occasion, Professor Kotler and Pak Hermawan Kartajaya (AMF Patron and Chairman of the Committee) unveiled their new book titled ‘Entrepreneurial Marketing,’ and Professor Kotler delivered a special presentation on the ‘Future of Marketing.’ This brief article aims to provide you with a strategic lens on how marketing is evolving and what the future might look like from Kotler’s personal perspective and his insights. Notwithstanding this the writing reflects the author’s personal interpretation of Professor Philip Kotler’s experiences and conclusions about the future of marketing and summarizes key insights of his presentation.
