Founded in 1966, Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT) is strongly determined to develop marketing professionals, ranging from businesspeople, marketeers, entrepreneurs, marketing academics and university students nationwide majoring in marketing to create the society of ‘avid marketeers’ with high degree of expertise and pride in the profession.
Today MAT has grown and is now ready in all aspects to develop, promote, and lift up the standard of Thai marketeers to the international standard through a number of channels including:

The Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT), led by Dr. Buranin Batanasombat, President of the Association, summarized its key activities over the past year and reaffirmed its commitment to serving as a "Marketing Accelerator" - driving marketing to become a crucial national strategic force.
The association encourages marketers to "look beyond sales, think deeper than strategies, act with more intention than just advertising, and stand firmly and sincerely for their brand values."
Throughout 2024, the Association has evolved from being merely a platform for discussion into a driving force for knowledge-building, offering tools, skills, and networks necessary for marketers at all levels. This includes hosting relevant, real world activities, intensive learning forums, and diverse
professional community connections.
MAT also developed seminar programs to empower marketers of all ages, from young professionals in the J-MAT program to senior executives in the MAT CMO Council. Over 8,000 participants joined various activities and seminars, underscoring the Association's significant role in advancing Thailand's marketing sector.
In 2025, MAT will continue to strengthen Thai marketers' regional competitiveness by working with the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF), aiming to position Thailand as a regional marketing hub.
Emphasis will be placed on nurturing the next generation of marketing leaders who are prepared to navigate fierce competition and trade battles. The Association also seeks to promote the concept of Social Marketing to support sustainability across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

With over 300 on-site attendees and 2,000 online participants annually, it remains a widely attended and impactful conference in the country.
