Macau Marketing Institute (MMI) is founded since 2018 in Macau. MMI is a non-profit organization and is governed by the MMI Articles of Association and the applicable laws and regulations of the Macau Special Administration Region of the People’s Republic of China.
For the international exchange and development, MMI is elected as the 17th Committee Member of Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) in 2018, and MMI signed the MoU with Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for institutional cooperation in 2018. About the closer cooperation with motherland China, MMI signed the MoU with the national China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Commercial Sub-Council (CCPIT-CSC) in 2019.
The major 5 purposes of MMI are included to contribute for the continuing development of the economy of Macau, to promote the professional development of Macau marketers for gaining the international institutes’ recognitions and certifications, to create a diversified exchange platform for the members of the marketing sector, to build the good relationship for the members with Macau and overseas associations and networks, and to unite the members to always uphold and boost the core principles of “One Country Two Systems” and “Love China Love Macau”.

The Macau Marketing Institute (MMI) members of the Board of Directors and the invited guests and universities students had visited the “National Security Education Exhibition” to deepen the members’ understanding of the history and the importance of national security, learn about the nation’s century-long development and struggles, and gain more knowledge in the country’s sovereignty and development interests. MMI always supports the Macau SAR has to safeguard national security and helps to promote the “one country, two systems” principle to all members and the networked associations and students.
The Macau Marketing Institute (MMI) and Chartered Institute of Marketing Hong Kong (CIM Hong Kong) had co-held the Virtual Marketing Conference. The all participants from Hong Kong, Macau, TW, Shanghai, Beijing, and Myanmar for the speaker’s insight and market updates over their respective profession/market, including Retail & Catering, Events & PR, Financial, Innovation & Startup, and Entrepreneurship in Macau & China Great Bay Area.
The Macau Marketing Institute (MMI) and the Faculty of Business Administration of University of Macau (FBA-UM) had jointly undertaken a survey on marketers and management in Macau. In the Press Conference, MMI and FBA-UM pointed out that they through the survey understood more about marketer’s job, their responsibilities and competences as well as the challenges they face on their job under the impact of COVID-19 pandemic with the aim of helping the industry to nurture talents.
